Spinnin’ Records se despide de dos productores más

Después de la disputa que tuvo lugar cuando Martin Garrix decidió separarse de Spinnin’ Records y MusicAllStars Management mediante una demanda. Ahora dos productores más anunciaron su separación de uno de los mayores sellos discográficos del EDM.

El primero en hacer el anuncio fue el productor holandés Julian Jordan; que tiene éxitos como “Blinded By The Light”, “Angels x Demons” y “Rage”. Jordan nos dio la razón de su separación diciendo que ya no tuvo oportunidad de llegar a un acuerdo sobre un nuevo contrato.

I’d like to inform all of my fans and followers that i won’t continue my deal with Spinnin’ Records and their management company MusicAllStars MGMT. The last few months we’ve been trying to sign a new agreement with Spinnin’ Records but unfortunately we couldn’t agree on a new deal. The last couple of weeks we have build a new Julian Jordan team which gives me more freedom than before. I will give you guys more new music and i'm happy to announce that my next single will be released on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings. I’ve never felt more creative, and can’t wait to show you all what i’m working on. Big love to all my fans and hope to see you soon ! Julian <|

Y justo unas horas después, el productor danés y también fundador de Megaton Records Mike Hawkins anunció que dejaría el sello de Spinnin’ Records. Hawkins dijo que “Las dos partes acordaron que seguir adelante no era tal vez lo mejor para ambos en términos de estilo y visión”.

Continuing on what I announced last week, I would like to inform fans, followers, friends and other supporters that Spinnin' Records and I have mutually agreed to end our deal. Following two very exciting and fruitful years for me it has been a key stone for my personal aspirations that I pursue wider and different creative paths in my music. I have worked hard on several new records the past half year, and both parties have agreed that going forward we are perhaps not the right match for each other in terms of style and vision. I'm extremely excited about the future and my new team which I can't wait to tell you more about – and I feel more creative and inspired than ever, something which shows in the studio. Thank you all so much for being with me through this journey, nothing but love for you!

Con ésta noticia nos damos cuenta que el clima de la industria ha cambiado, y más artistas comienzan a darse cuenta que los grandes sellos discográficos comienzan a ser obsoletos. Con herramientas como el streaming y las redes sociales los DJs y productores se dan cuenta que pueden desarrollar su base de fans y lanzar su música sin la ayuda de grandes ejecutivos y se valora más el potencial que se tiene de ser un músico independiente.
